WATCH: Puka Nacua TD Not Enough to Put Los Angeles Rams Ahead of Philadelphia Eagles at Halftime
The Los Angeles Rams offense has come to play on Sunday afternoon against the defending NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles.
And heading into the locker room at halftime, that offensive production is paying dividends.
However, thanks to a late defensive lapse, and the patented Philadelphia 'brotherly shove' the Rams currently trail the Eagles 17-14 after two quarters.
Star wideout Cooper Kupp has led the way early on for L.A., catching six passes on eight targets for 95 yards in his first game back after missing the first four games of the year on the injured reserve list.
However, it was rookie Puka Nacua who got the headlines at the end of the second quarter, however, catching a beautiful fade from quarterback Matthew Stafford for the go-ahead score.
It was Nacua's second touchdown of the season after last week's game-winner over the Colts.
For the game, Nacua has three catches for 34 yards and the score.
Meanwhile, Stafford has also been dealing from under center in vintage fashion for Los Angeles, completing 12 of 17 passes for 147 yards and two scores.
Tutu Atwell, who has also been a breakout star for the Rams early on this season, was on the receiving end of the first touchdown from Stafford.
Despite the dynamic passing attack, however, the Rams have also had one key issue on the offensive end - the rushing attack - with Kyren Williams rushing for just 21 yards on seven carries.
The Rams will hope to ride their hot passing game and rebound from the second-quarter Philly gut punch in the second half.
