Zac Stacy's Victim Responds to Ex-Rams RB's Jail Sentence
Former Rams running back Zac Stacy was sentenced to six months in jail on Monday.
And now his victim, Stacy's ex-girlfriend, and mother of his child, Kristin Evans, is speaking out.
In a recent video post, Evans spoke in support of Stacy and the progress he has made in therapy since his arrest.
"Thankfully, because the law did not provide much protection, he decided to change," Evans said in the video obtained by TMZ. "So through cognitive behavioral therapy, he was able to make a significant adjustment in his behavior and communication."
Evans was also against him going being sent to jail, claiming that it would adversely affect her son's mental health.
"Over the last six months, he's consistently shown an improvement, as well as our son enjoying spending time with him," Evans said. "My concern was our son, and what kind of psychological effect it would have on him, having his father gone for six months or more... So please give me some grace in understanding that I’m not being easy on Zac, rather I am trying to protect our son from any more trauma."
Stacy has yet to begin his sentence.
