Free agency has not been kind to the Baltimore Ravens defensively this offseason.

Gone are linebackers Jadeveon Clowney, Patrick Queen and Del'Shawn Phillips, as well as cornerback Ronald Darby. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy, defensive back Daryl Worley and corner Rock Ya-Sin are still unsigned and expected to find new teams.

General manager Eric DeCosta will be looking to add depth and more star power to the defense either through the draft, trades of free agent moves.

One possibility that Bleacher Report sees working in Baltimore's favor is a trade with the New Orleans Saints to bring in cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

"Baltimore lost Jadeveon Clowney in free agency, and Kyle Van Noy is still on the open market. They logged 18.5 sacks combined last season. Teams rarely trade high-end pass-rushers, so the Ravens should focus on bolstering their secondary by acquiring a starting boundary cornerback. Baltimore could call the New Orleans Saints to inquire about Marshon Lattimore, who only has one year of guaranteed money left on his deal.

"The Saints may be willing to part ways with the four-time Pro Bowler as they continue to develop Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor. Lattimore, 27, has missed 17 games over the previous two years because of injury, which makes this a risky deal for the Ravens. If he can stay healthy, though, Baltimore would have an upgraded secondary to compensate for a questionable pass rush.

"The Ravens may be able to acquire Lattimore in exchange for middle- and late-round picks similar to what the Detroit Lions sent to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Carlton Davis."

The Ravens still have corners Brandon Stephens and Marlon Humphrey, but Stephens appears to have peaked talent-wise, and Humphrey dealt with injuries most of last season. Bringing in Lattimore wouild add depth while improving the talent at the position.
