NFL running back Dalvin Cook had stops with the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens in 2023, but never say any significant playing time.

But, as he told KPRC's Aaron Wilson, he still considers himself a top talent.

"I've got it all, Cook said. "The tools are still here. I didn't really get no reps last year. So, the legs are fresh, so the resume speaks for itself. I'm still Dalvin Cook. I'm still that guy. For me, I don't like to toot my own horn. I just like to go out there, put my helmet on and line up on the grass."

The 28-year-old rushed for 214 yards on 67 carries over 15 games for the Jets, then joined the Ravens for the playoff run, where he had just eight carries for 23 yards.

Cook is most well known for his tenure in Minnesota, where he rushed for 5,993 yards and 47 touchdowns, and was named to four Pro Bowls. He also contributed four seasons of at least 1,100 yards on the ground.

"Yeah, you always have to be prepared for the opportunity," Cook added. "For me, I'm a veteran in the league. I know what it takes to be successful in this league. I know who Dalvin Cook is and I know how I want to perform and what I want to do. Like you said, stay ready so you ain't got to get ready."

With his lack of recent success, Cook will most likely see the same problems finding work this offseason as he did last offseason when he didn't sign with the Jets until August.
