3 Remaining Free Agent Linemen Who Could Help Baltimore Ravens in 2024

Despite having a clear hole on both sides of the offensive line, there are quality starting players still available for the Baltimore Ravens to acquire.

The Baltimore Ravens still need help along the interior of their offensive line. Following the free agent departures of both John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler, there is a massive hole the Flock needs to figure out before practices truly begin.

Luckily for the Ravens, there are still starting-caliber linemen available and should come at half the price as some other players who were picked up in free agency.

Let's go through three of the biggest names that could not only help Baltimore out, but continue the level of dominance this offensive line has had in recent years.

Nick Gates

Few available players have the position flexibility of Nick Gates. He's been a center and guard for his career and could be the kind of flexible, athletic player that Baltimore is looking for on the interior. Tyler Linderbaum is an excellent center, but to have Gates not only play guard, but also have center experience in case something were to happen with their former first-round pick makes plenty of sense for the Ravens.

Laken Tomlinson

Of all the available names, Tomlinson carries some of the largest pedigree overall in his career. A Pro Bowl player with the San Francisco 49ers, Tomlinson joined the New York Jets for two seasons but played pretty ineffectively and became a cap casualty this offseason.

Tomlinson has plenty of starting experience, and is a dependable player overall who rarely gets hurt. He's the kind of player that can replace Simpson or Zeitler on either side of the line.

Dalton Risner

At one point, Risner was one of the highest graded guards in all of football, so why is he still available? Well, a poor start to the season last year led the way for Minnesota to trade for Ezra Cleveland and bench Risner as a whole.

He would be pretty cheap on the open market and has starting experience. He's the kind of player, like Simpson before, that the Ravens look to work with and try to rebuild his career.
