Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner 'In Danger' of Missing Matchup vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens received some injury news on Tuesday, but it wasn't from their own roster. Instead, it came from the Arizona Cardinals.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Cardinals running back James Conner is "in danger" of missing the next four games on his team's schedule, including a home date with the Ravens on Oct. 29. Conner sustained a knee injury in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and news broke on Tuesday that his injury will likely sideline him for multiple weeks.
Schefter's report indicates that Conner could potentially miss road games against the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns along with the home game against Baltimore.
This could be a welcome development for the Baltimore defense if Conner is not able to suit up in a couple of weeks. So far in 2023, the Ravens have surrendered 457 rush yards on 128 attempts. While those numbers aren't bad, Conner has been strong in his own right on the ground, putting up 364 yards on 68 carries, good for 5.4 yards per attempt.
The Ravens are coming off a 17-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and they have matchups against the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions looming before traveling to face Arizona.
Baltimore's game against the Titans in Week 6 comes at 9:30 a.m. ET as the teams do battle in London as a part of the NFL's International Series. The Ravens will then face the Lions at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 22 before facing Arizona at 4:25 p.m. ET the following week.
