Ravens Thursday Night Football: 'No Shortage Of Storylines,' Says Al Michaels

The Ravens will host a highly-anticipated Thursday night matchup vs. the Cincinnati Bengals in a Wild Card Round rematch from last season.

The Ravens will be no stranger to prime time during the 2023 NFL season. Baltimore will play in four prime-time games, including hosting a highly-anticipated Thursday night matchup vs. the Cincinnati Bengals in a Wild Card Round rematch from last season.

Baltimore's game against the Bengals will be on Prime Video's Thursday Night Football, as TNF will feature matchups between all 14 playoff teams from last season. This comes after a lackluster 2022 season slate of rough matchups.

The 2023 Amazon Prime matchups look much better. Sports Illustrated's Jimmy Traina reached out to TNF's lead voice, Al Michaels for his take on the schedule, who says there are storylines galore for this season's schedule.

“Love the way we come out of the gate," Michaels said. "Three ‘A’ grade games. Two Aaron Rodgers games. Baltimore-Cincinnati, another good one. League did us a solid.

“I was raring to go the minute I saw the whole slate. Already thinking of storylines for each game, of which there is no shortage.”

On one of the biggest shopping days of the year, Prime Video will make history with the presentation of the first NFL Black Friday game on November 24, as the Jets host the Dolphins.

“Great idea," Michaels said. "Tens of millions recovering from the prior day’s tryptophan hangover will love it. Rodgers-Tua, a marquee matchup on any day.”

Wins football fans and for Prime Video. ... For the Ravens, who have the fifth-best odds to win the AFC Conference, hopefully, a Thursday night win as well. In 2022, Baltimore beat the Bengals with quarterback Lamar Jackson and lost two including the playoff game, without Jackson. This late-season game could go a long way in deciding the AFC North champion.
