The Baltimore Ravens would like to have free agent wideout Odell Beckham Jr. back next season. But he's apparently going to come at a high cost, and that could price the Ravens out of the market.

Beckham has been meeting with other teams, andthere is interest around the league in bringing the journeyman receiver in.

Last season, Beckham caught 35 passes for 535 yards and three touchdowns, but he also cost the Ravens $16 million for that production. That hardly sounds like a bargain, and other teams look at it the same way.

Bleacher Report's Jeremy Fowler reported that after the Miami Dolphins met with OBJ, there was reportedly interest, but Beckham's desired salary could be a roadblock.

"Odell Beckham met with the Miami Dolphins this past week and I was told the Dolphins are definitely interested. It's probably going to be at a price point that they're going to have to figure out.

"So, they're not willing to overspend at this point. They don't have a lot of cash. They got Tyreek Hill, they got Jaylen Waddle, but they want to pair those two with a veteran receiver. So, some mutual interest."

The Dolphins could be handcuffed by the contract they're considering offering quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, as that's expected to be north of $50 million annually. Receiver Jaylen Waddle is due for an extension soon, and the team will need cap space available for that.

Wherever Beckham ends up in 2024 will likely be dictated by his salary. He won't get another $16-plus million deal next season - from the Ravens or anyone else - and he'll have to accept that. He could end up back in Baltimore, but general manager Eric DeCosta won't let it hurt the team financially.

And that's the attitude it looks like most general managers around the league seem to have.
