Ravens Beat 49ers in Super Bowl LIX - ESPN
We're just a week removed from the end of the 2023 season that culminated with an overtime thriller in Super Bowl LVIII with a Kansas City Chiefs 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
As we enter the offseason, all 32 teams hope to make the improvements through the NFL Draft and in free agency to earn a trip to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX in February of next year.
The illustrious four-letter network predicts the Baltimore Ravens will be the AFC representative making the trip to Caesars Superdome next year.
"The Ravens have 25 unrestricted free agents, including 15 who totaled at least 200 snaps this season. The list includes three Pro Bowl players in defensive tackle Justin Madubuike, inside linebacker Patrick Queen and guard Kevin Zeitler.
Baltimore won't have a lot of salary cap space to keep all of its free agents, who combined for 24 touchdowns and 42 sacks this season," ESPN wrote of the Ravens heading into the 2024 offseason.
If the Ravens can live up to the prediction, they will keep the Chiefs from an opportunity to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls.
Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson will be fresh off his second MVP season, but it all depends on what general manager Eric DeCosta can do with the roster this offseason.
NFL Mock Draft: Ravens Add Another Penn State Pass Rusher?
The Ravens have 29 players who are entering free agency next month, and some were key contributors at important positions last year.
If Baltimore is going to knock the Chiefs off the top of the AFC mountain this upcoming season, DeCosta will have to either replace or re-sign players who could be departing Charm City, and he'll have to do so without a ton of cap room.
Let's see what ya got, Eric...
