Now that Super Bowl LVIII is in our rearview mirror it's time for media outlets and others to start predicting the winner of the next one. Super Bowl LIX - that's 59 for those of you who didn't learn Roman numerals in school - will be held at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Feb. 9, 2025.

According to Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated, the Kansas City Chiefs won't be the first team to three-peat in the Super Bowl.

"No Brian Callahan? No problem," Orr wrote. "Zac Taylor and Dan Pitcher, the team’s new offensive coordinator and a prospective future star, are going to post the best numbers of Burrow’s career in 2024. That means besting 35 touchdowns, and the 4,600 yards Burrow threw for during the Bengals’ Super Bowl season in 2021. Oh, and the Bengals defeat the Detroit Lions in Super Bowl LIX."

With loads of talent, it could be anyone's game on the AFC side - even the Ravens have a shot after a near-miss this past season. The Bengals will have a returning Joe Burrow after suffering a season-ending hand injury last year and coming back healthy could have another massive season.

Of course, the Chiefs will have something to say about all this barring any unforeseen major injury issues, and Buffalo is always a threat as long as quarterback Josh Allen is in form.

Maybe the most shocking part of Orr's prediction is that Cincinnati will defeat the Lions - predicting Detroit to better its season from last year when the Lions lost in the NFC Championship game to the San Francisco 49ers.
