Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh talked to the media about the team's success through seven weeks of the season.

"Success does breed success," Harbaugh said. "Real confidence is based on having proven to yourself that you can actually do it. It's one thing to believe in yourself and know the potential is there. It's another thing to get out there and sink a shot and know that you can. If you've ever been on the free throw line with the game on the line in sixth, seventh, eighth grade whatever, and you had to make a shot, when you make it you feel a little bit better about yourself, don't you? You know you can cause you did. So that's kind of true for everything, it's even true for NFL players at the highest level."

The Ravens have started the season 5-2 and look like one of the best teams in the league so far. Both of their losses have been close games that they probably should have won against the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Star quarterback Lamar Jackson has led the Baltimore Ravens to a 5-2 record this season.

Two seasons ago, Baltimore started 5-2 as well, with a bye week in Week 8. The team would go on to finish the season 8-9, going 3-7 after the bye and losing its last six straight games.

The hope is that this team is different, and by the way they have played, they certainly look the part. The Ravens just defeated the Detroit Lions in a more than convincing fashion, walloping them 38-6 at M&T Bank Stadium.

Next up for Baltimore is a road matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 29 at 4:25 p.m.
