Baltimore Ravens' Coach On Kyle Hamilton - 'Don't Let The Baby Face Fool You'
Baltimore Ravens pass game and secondary coordinator Chris Hewitt had nothing but good things to say about safety Kyle Hamilton in the midst of his breakout season.
"I told you from my first presser in the beginning of the year, I told you that he was going to be a Pro Bowl level player," Hewitt said. "He does everything. He covers, he blitzes, he tackles, there's nothing that that kid can't do. A lot of things that people don't realize about him is, don't let the baby face fool you, he'll try to rip your face off. He's a great player."
Hamilton was drafted by the Ravens with the No. 14 overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame. In three seasons with the Fighting Irish, he recorded 138 tackles, 16 passes defended, eight interceptions and 7.5 sacks.
In his first season with Baltimore, he only started in four of the 16 games he played in, picking up 62 tackles, five passes defended, four tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.
Now, the 22-year-old safety has begun to look like the player he was drafted to be, collecting 62 tackles, 3.0 sacks, two interceptions, eight tackles for loss and nine passes defended in 12 games so far.
