Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins 'Hints' Where He'd Like To Play In 2023; Ravens Included?
There's a good chance the Arizona Cardinals could part ways Pro Bowl wideout DeAndre Hopkins sooner than later. A lot of that depends on what type of offer they receive in exchange for Hopkins.
Hopkins himself has largely remained silent about the whole situation, but the subject of him moving on from the Cardinals has been one of the hottest topics in the NFL this offseason.
While Hopkins still hasn't vocalized his personal choices of where he'd like to play, he did use body language in a recent conversation with CBS Sports to indicate his preferences. And there are two.
The Baltimore Ravens were not mentioned, so we don't know what his feelings are about coming to Charm City.
But there were two teams he indicated through facial expressions that he would prefer over the other two. The Jets and Patriots didn't get great reactions. But the Bills and Chiefs certainly did.
And you can't blame Hopkins for wanting to catch passes from Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes over Mac Jones and ... well, whoever is throwing passes for the Jets.
Hopkins has the eighth-most receiving yards through a player's first 10 seasons in NFL history with 11,298, and the fourth-most receptions after a player's first 10 seasons with 853.Â
Hopkins averaged 7.1 catches per game in 2022 (fourth in NFL) and 79.7 receiving yards per game (10th in NFL) despite only playing nine games.Â
