The Baltimore Ravens played right into the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the "dying moments" of the 17-10 Week 5 loss according to Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson.

The crazy thing about that too, I'll never forget, on Wednesday meeting Coach said, 'When it's a dying moment, they will try to burn the house down,'" Peterson said via All Things Covered. "You go back to that moment I'll be damned, they tried to burn the house down and we caught them."

Peterson was talking about the play in the fourth quarter that Pittsburgh took its first lead of the game on. On 2nd-and-9 with 1:17 left in the game, the Steelers had the ball on Baltimore's 41-yard-line. The Ravens loaded the box and sent pressure, something that Pittsburgh was prepared for and capitalized on.

"Next thing you know, you got the zero coverage, which, I don't know why they was pressing in zero coverage anyway," Peterson said. "Both corners and the nickel back was pressing, they were in zero meaning no safeties, they pretty much brought the kitchen sink, everybody's on the island in press coverage, which is almost unheard of. But better for us than them, and we got them."

On the play, Baltimore sent six defenders to blitz, leaving two linebackers at the line of scrimmage spying on the backfield players and the three cornerbacks each with a one-on-one matchup. The cornerbacks were in press coverage, meaning they were pressing the receivers at the line of scrimmage.

Steelers wide receiver George Pickens beat Ravens' All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey off the line and had a step on him down the sideline. As soon as Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett set his feet on his drop back, he fired a pass down the right sideline to Pickens who caught it for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown.
