The Baltimore Ravens enter an offseason of uncertainty with running backs Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins about to hit free agency. Edwards had a resurgent year after starter Dobbins went down in Week 1 with an Achilles tear and was lost for the season.

While bringing back one or both is still a possibility - however unlikely - ESPN's Jeremy Fowler projects one of the Dallas Cowboys' backs could find their way to Charm City instead.

Fowler thinks there's a good chance Cowboys running back Tony Pollard could be in the mix to sign in Baltimore. Pollard is coming off his first-ever season as RB1 and didn't necessarily impress in his new role, taking over for Ezekiel Elliott as America's Team's primary ball carrier.

Pollard's average rushing yards per game went from 5.2 to 4.0 and he had his fewest receiving yards total since 2020, despite setting a career mark in catches. It shows how differently Dallas utilized him as a primary back.

Pollard still hit 1,000 yards rushing in a down season. That says something.

But he's still a big play threat and he still has speed. I think he can still be a dangerous offensive weapon if used correctly in an offense.

Pollard is still young, too, at just 27. This could be the last big contract for him as the shelf life of running backs in the NFL continues to decrease unless your name is Derrick Henry.
