Ravens Free Agency: Mike Evans Wants to Play with an 'Elite' QB
The Baltimore Ravens are expected to be in play for a free-agent wide receiver this offseason. They could also look to replace Odell Beckham Jr. - who is expected to hit free agency on March 13 - through April's NFL Draft too.
But one big name that's being associated with the Ravens in free agency is Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans.
According to Bleacher Report, Evans’ agent says he wants to play with an elite quarterback. “Mike wants to play with an elite quarterback in an offense that will showcase him — and be paid like a top wide receiver. He doesn’t want to play with a rookie QB. Winning a Super Bowl is a key priority,” Evans’ agent said.
While it's still possible Evans remains in Tampa either with a new deal or under the franchise tag, Evans' words about playing with an elite quarterback probably don't apply to Baker Mayfield, who himself is also a free agent and may not return to the Buccaneers.
Evans was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M and has since won a Super Bowl and been named a two-time second-team All-Pro and is a five-time Pro Bowler.

In that time he's caught 762 passes for 11,680 yards and 94 touchdowns.
The Ravens are a long shot to land Evans, but they clearly will need a receiver to replace Beckham Jr. Lamar Jackson is an elite quarterback and the Ravens are contenders.
