Ravens Free Agency Rumor: Bucs All-Pro WR Mike Evans to Baltimore?

The Baltimore Ravens made it a point to improve the passing attack last season in an effort to re-sign MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson to a new contract.

The Baltimore Ravens made it a point to improve the passing attack last season in an effort to re-sign MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson to a new contract.

The team signed Nelson Agholor and Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency last offseason and drafted Boston College wideout Zay Flowers in with their first-round pick.

As it turns out, all of those moves paid off, as Jackson not only re-signed with the Ravens with a long-term deal, and the former Louisville Cardinal won his second league MVP last season.

Now, as free agency approaches, Beckham will most likely hit the open market, while Agholor has been re-signed and Flowers enters year two of his rookie deal.

The Ravens could look back into free agency to find another weapon for Jackson, and it just so happens one of the best ever to do it could be free himself in Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans.

Evans was drafted by the Bucs in 2014 in the first round and quickly made a name for himself as one of the best in the game. Nothing has changed now ten seasons later, and the former Texas A&M Aggie has hit the 1,000-yard mark in every season since arriving in Tampa.

Ravens Free Agent Rumors: 'Dream Target' Eagles' LB Signs With Baltimore

And now, Bookies.com thinks the Ravens are not the favorite to land Evans should he leave the Bucs. Baltimore is at +2000 to sign the Super Bowl champion wideout.

Bookies.com projects Evans will demand upwards of $20 million per season and would most likely land a three- to four-year deal.

The favorite are the Houston Texans at +300 with Evans' current team in Tampa coming in second at +325.
