The Baltimore Ravens gave up a touchdown to the Arizona Cardinals on the opening drive of the game, the first time they had done that in 16 games.

The Cardinals got the ball first to start the game, and immediately went to work. Quarterback Joshua Dobbs led the offense down the field, going 75 yards in 12 plays on a drive that took six minutes and 55 seconds.

Dobbs capped off the drive with a one-yard touchdown run on 2nd-and-goal, his third rushing touchdown of the season. He completed three passes on the drive for 24 yards.

If it's not Dobbs' last game as Arizona's starter, it's likely one of his last. Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray has started the process of returning to the field and is expected to play in the next couple of weeks. Murray suffered a torn ACL in December 2022 during a game against the New England Patriots.

For the Ravens, they hadn't allowed a team to score a touchdown on its opening drive touchdown since Week 8 of last season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was also the first time this season that they have allowed a touchdown in the first quarter of a game, as Baltimore's defense had only given up six total points in the first frame through seven games.

The Ravens were able to respond immediately with a 10-play, 75-yard touchdown drive of their own, which ended in a 5-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews, who was born in Arizona.
