No Mark Andrews? No Worries! Ravens Isaiah Likely's Form Continues With TD vs. Texans
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was on the verge of coming back from his ankle injury against the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round, but he might not need to rush it next week either - Isaiah Likely is here.
While Andrews' return is expected in the AFC Championship game, offensive coordinator Todd Monken has seen second-year tight end Isaiah Likely burst onto the scene in his absence.
He finished the season with three touchdowns in his last two games and he followed that up with a crucial fourth-quarter catch against the Texans as he continues his ascension this season.
Likely's 17-yard touchdown catch in which he "Moss'd" Texans defender Derek Stingley Jr. capped off a superb 14-play, 88-yard drive that took 7:03 off the clock by Lamar Jackson and put the Ravens in a commanding position, up 24-10 in the fourth quarter.
Since being pushed up to a starting role after Andrews' ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals, Likely has gone from strength to strength with his yards after the catch being a feature of his game.
It now marks seven straight games that Likley has had 30-plus receiving yards as he is proving to be quite the weapon for Monken and the offense.

With the looming return of Andrews, having him and Likely on the field will make for fascinating viewing as both have their own unique traits that are proving hard to stop.
Likely, at the end of the regular season, totaled 411 yards and five touchdowns from his 30 receptions as he has made a big impression on the Ravens offense since taking over for Andrews.
Baltimore has weapons everywhere you look and with Andrews' impending return, and Likely continuing his superb form, Lamar has a genuine one-two punch at tight end that could prove to be decisive as the Ravens look to make it all the way to the Super Bowl.
