Baltimore Ravens' John Harbaugh 'Real Happy!' With Performance vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Baltimore Ravens moved to 10-3 on the season after their nail-biting 37-31 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams at M&T Bank Stadium.
In a game that was back and forth, the Ravens put up over 400 total yards of offense in the rain, as neither team held a lead of more than six points throughout the entire game.
But when push came to shove, the Ravens got it done as Lamar Jackson found Zay Flowers for the go-ahead touchdown with 1:16 remaining. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford managed to drive his team into field goal range, and it was off to overtime.
After the Ravens got the ball first but were forced to punt, so too were the Rams on their first overtime possession - enter Tylan Wallace, who returned it for a touchdown to seal a memorable win.
“Real happy with the performance,” John Harbaugh said. “Love the way the guys played, love the way they fought. The plays that were made down the stretch and throughout the game really made the difference in the game. Those are all the things that are exciting to watch in difference-makers. December football all that, so that's been great, but really, now we kind of turn our attention toward Jacksonville, and we've got a real big important conference game down there on Sunday Night Football, and our guys will be focused on that.”
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson again had a good afternoon (24/43 for 316 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 11 rushing attempts for 70 yards), while Odell Beckham Jr. (4 rec, 97 yards, 1 TD), tight end Isaiah Likely (5 rec, 83 yards, 1 TD) and Zay Flowers (6 rec, 60 yards, 1 TD) all pitched in.
With four games left in the season, Baltimore is positioning itself well for a deep playoff run but does face a tough run-in.
The Ravens face the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and finish with the Pittsburgh Steelers to close the season.
Ravens Week 15 Road Favorites vs. Jaguars?
But with the offense having no less than 300 total yards in their last five games and the defense having eight turnovers in that span while only allowing more than 300 total yards just twice, things are clicking for Baltimore.
Harbaugh was happy with his team's efforts against the Rams, and if they can maintain this level of play, we imagine that he might be even happier come season's end.
