Ravens' Justice Hill To Face Brother, Dax, In Week 2

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill will face his brother, Cincinnati Bengals safety Dax Hill in Week 2.
In this story:

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill will be staring down a familiar face from the backfield when he plays the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. His younger brother, Dax Hill, is Cincinnati's starting safety and it will be the first time the two play each other when both are playing prominent roles on their teams.

"I'm always a trash talker with him," Hill said. "He's been avoiding me a little bit. When I can get him on the phone, I've been talking my noise."

The older Hill brother will likely be playing a large role in Baltimore's running game after its starting running back, J.K. Dobbins went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1.

The sibling matchup will only add fuel to the fire that is the storied AFC North rivalry between the Ravens and the Bengals. The two brothers have played each other once before in the last game of the 2022 regular season.

Justice played college football at Oklahoma State University and Dax played at the University of Michigan. The two grew up with a highly competitive sibling relationship.

"It was super competitive," Justice Hill said. "We had a basketball court in the front yard, so it would go down out there. We competed at everything – board games, basketball, football, everything. It's not going to be anything new out there."

This will be the second time that both are active on their respective teams' rosters, with Baltimore and the eldest Hill getting the win in the first matchup. The Battle of the Hill Brothers will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Cincinnati's Paycor Stadium.
