Ravens Trolled & Ripped by Pat Mahomes Sr., Chiefs' Donovan Smith After AFC Title Game
After an incredible season that will most likely see an MVP award for quarterback Lamar Jackson and postseason awards for many of the coaching staff, the Baltimore Ravens were ousted of the playoff tournament one game short of their Super Bowl goal.
The Kansas City Chiefs were victorious at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday with a 17-10 win and celebrated in style on the field immediately after the game. In the locker room? Not so much.
Chiefs tackle Donovan Smith went to social media to viciously troll Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith, who apparently was trash-talking during the game.
As the Kansas City celebration continued in the locker room after the Lamar Hunt trophy was presented on the field, Roquan Smith was seen on television doing his post-game interview. Donovan Smith went live on Instagram to gloat feverishly.
“He’s sad. Look at his sad a**. He’s sad!” he said of Roquan.
Tempers between the two reportedly heated up during the game because of the trash-talking. But Donovan got the last laugh.
But Donovan Smith wasn't the only one gloating after the Ravens' loss on Sunday.
Lamar Jackson Remains Ravens' Biggest Problem After Title Game Loss
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes - who will appear in his fourth Super Bowl in five years was busy celebrating with his teammates. But his father, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes Sr., also took to social media.
Mahomes Sr. was seen smoking a victory cigar to celebrate his son's big win and indicated it was a "special blend Lamar Jackson."
The Chiefs will meet the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.
