Ravens' Kyle Hamilton Honored with All-Pro Nomination, But Has 'Bigger Goal in Mind'
The Baltimore Ravens defense has been stellar this season, large in part to the efforts of many, including second-year defensive back Kyle Hamilton.
Hamilton was recently voted First Team All-Pro, alongside fellow Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and linebacker Roquan Smith, but it didn't come as much of a surprise to him.
"I've always felt that I've had the ability to succeed at a high level," Hamilton said.
Hamilton recorded 83 tackles in 2023 with four interceptions, three sacks, and 13 passes defended and made it to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his NFL career.
However, with the AFC Championship on the line this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs, Hamilton is putting "we" over "me."
"All these accolades are ... something cool to tell the grandkids someday, but at the same time, we have a bigger goal in mind," Hamilton said.
The bigger goal in mind is getting back to the Super Bowl, something the Ravens haven't done in over a decade. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have been the AFC representative in the Super Bowl for three out of the past four years, but Hamilton and the Ravens defense hopes to ensure that it won't be them going to Las Vegas this year.

If Hamilton plays the way he has and if the Ravens continue to flex their dominance, he can help punch that ticket to Sin City.
The Ravens and Chiefs are set to kick off at 3 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.
