In this story:

Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald said that outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy's production is everything they anticipated from him.

"To me, he's the player that we anticipated him being," Macdonald said. "The things that he's done over the course of his career, he's doing here. He's playing, obviously, at a high level but he's the type of player that I expected him, that he was going to be. So credit to him for being ready to go. I don't mean that to take anything away, but that's how highly I thought of him for sure."

Van Noy has 5.0 sacks, four tackles for loss and one forced fumble in six games this season. He joined the Ravens through the practice squad early in the season before being elevated to the active roster for a 28-3 win over the Cleveland Browns in which he recorded one pass defended.

Kyle Van Noy recorded 2.0 sacks in a 37-3 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Since that game against the Browns, he has recorded a sack in three of the five games he has played in and recorded multiple sacks twice. Van Noy has been somewhat of a journey man in his career, with Baltimore being the fifth team he has played for in his 10th NFL season.

Still, he has put together an impressive statistical career which includes 480 tackles, 38.5 sacks, 51 tackles for loss, 11 forced fumbles and three interceptions. Van Noy has also won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots in 2016 and 2018 and is now looking for his third with the Ravens

Baltimore will try to continue its dominant season with a matchup against Cleveland on Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
