'Stop Lying!' Ravens' Lamar Jackson Tweets Back at Uncertified NFLPA Agent Reports

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has addressed the rumors of a non-certified NFLPA agent who is reportedly trying to get in contact with various franchises.
In this story:

The Lamar Jackson and Baltimore Ravens contract standoff resembles a rollercoaster, and we have our latest turn on the ride.

There have been reports that a person in Jackson's camp named Ken Francis, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, has been trying to contact several NFL franchises to try and thrash out a deal.

The only problem is that person - whoever it is - isn't a certified NFLPA agent.

Only certified NFLPA agents can conduct business with NFL teams per NFL rules. Thus, a memo went out to all NFL teams that they are not allowed to negotiate with Francis.

Well, this latest development has irked Jackson as the quarterback quickly cooled the reports and called for people to "stop lying" about the situation.

It is yet another development in a contract saga that has been going on for the best part of two years. Jackson reportedly wants a fully guaranteed contract, but the Ravens reportedly don't want to give him that.

Last season, Jackson reportedly turned down a contract offer from the Ravens that would have given him $133 million guaranteed, along with injury guarantees that would have seen his total guarantees become $175 million.

So, there's that.

The contract saga between Jackson and the Ravens doesn't feel like it is ending anytime soon and given that both sides have until July 17 to get a long-term deal done, there isn't much positivity, from the outside at least, that it will get done.

Just where this saga's next turn remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, there is no one talking to NFL teams on Jackson's behalf.
