The Baltimore Ravens added some offensive line depth in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. With the No. 199 pick, they selected Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu.

Baltimore's offensive line took a bit of a hit this offseason. The main loss was starting guard Ben Powers, who signed with the Denver Broncos in free agency. Backup linemen Trystan Colon-Castillo and Jaquan James also left the team this offseason. The Ravens now hope that Aumavae-Laulu will help shore up some of that lost depth.

SI Draft Bible says Aumavae-Laulu "possesses an intriguing frame with decent arm length and mobility, but his hand usage in pass protection and agility aren’t up to par."

The Hawaiian native played three seasons at Oregon after redshirting in 2019. He started 22 games for the Ducks, including all 13 in 2022. The 6-5, 317-pound lineman earned a grade of 77 from Pro Football Focus last season.

"His frame offers ideal size and mass for an offensive tackle," SI Draft Bible writes. "Aumavae-Laulu has experience playing right tackle and right guard, but it’s unlikely he will kick inside at the next level because of his build. The redshirt senior offers adequate initial speed in his kick step and slide, but he needs to play a step faster at the next level."

This pick was the Ravens' final one of five in this year's draft. Make sure to keep up with all the Baltimore Ravens' undrafted free-agent signings with our UDA Tracker at RavenCountry.com!
