Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey has some time on his hands as he recovers from foot surgery.

During his time away from the field, Humphrey is taking the opportunity to grow his Punchline Podcast with co-host Jack Settleman.

In a recent episode of the podcast, Humphrey and Settleman spoke about New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who finds his team 0-2 for the first time since 2001, the year Tom Brady was promoted from backup to starter.

"Is Belichick elite, or Tom Brady elite? it's looking more like Brady," Humphrey said.

"I don't know if Belichick was ever daggum dirty."

The Belichick vs. Brady debate has been a constant in NFL talking circles since 2020 when Brady defected from the Patriots to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In one year with the Bucs, Brady won his seventh and final Super Bowl, while Belichick has yet to win a playoff game. This has led many people to believe that Brady was more responsible for the Patriots' dynastic success than Belichick.

History is history at the end of the day. The Patriots won those Super Bowls and couldn't have done so without Brady or Belichick. However, Belichick's struggles since Brady left cannot go unnoticed. The NFL is all about what you have done for me lately, and Brady has simply done better since the pair split up and went their separate ways.

But that doesn't mean Belichick can't have the last laugh. He's the one still in the league, not Brady ... but he has some catching up to do.
