Ravens vs. Dolphins Thursday Injury Report: 3 Stars Miss Practice

Plenty of stars missed Thursday's practice for both the Miami Dolphins and AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens.

In a matchup that could decide who receives a first-round bye in the playoffs, both the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens have plenty of stars banged up through practice.

On the Ravens side, wide receiver Zay Flowers did not participate in Thursday's practice due to a calf injury he has been dealing with. Flowers caught nine passes for 72 yards and a score in the Ravens' 33-19 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas Day.

Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (concussion), Brandon Stephens (calf), and linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips also did not practice for Baltimore. Guard Kevin Zeitler, (safety) Kyle Hamilton, (cornerback) Arthur Maulet, (offensive lineman) Patrick Mekari, and (punter) Jordan Stout were all limited.

Things may not be going so well on Miami's side after their 22-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys last week either.

1,000-yard receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert each did not practice for the Dolphins. Both players suffered ankle injuries against the Cowboys at different points in the game.

A plethora of other players including Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, De'Von Achane, Terron Armstead, and Xavien Howard were all limited.

Waddle's absence could be an issue for Miami's offense, especially with Hill not being healthy in recent weeks with an ankle injury.

The good news for Miami is that Hill was seen back at practice after missing Wednesday and doesn't appear to have his game status in question.

It is far too early in the practice schedule to determine if any of either team's stars would be unavailable to play on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. There is an argument to be made though that the Dolphins are significantly more banged-up than the Ravens going into Week 17.
