'Just Terrible!' Dolphins Reporter Calls Out Ravens, John Harbaugh for Late TD
There isn't a better team playing football right now than the Baltimore Ravens as the 2023 NFL season -and year - draws to a close.
The Ravens clinched the AFC's top seed Sunday with a dominant 56-19 win over the Miami Dolphins that saw Lamar Jackson throw for five touchdowns and a perfect passer rating (158.3).
While Baltimore's offensive dominance was certainly one for the record books, not everyone was impressed with the way the team handled the victory.
Joe Schad, a Miami Dolphins journalist for the Palm Beach Post, took offense to the final touchdown pass of the day - this one a 19 strike from Tyler Huntley to Charlie Kolar with 2:26 to go in the game and the Ravens already up 49-19.
"That's pretty terrible that John Harbaugh and the Ravens just passed for another touchdown, up 49-19, with a few minutes left and moments after Bradley Chubb was carted off with a potentially serious injury ... It's 56-19," Schad said with a Tweet on X.
Chubb's status is still up in the air but suffered a non-contact injury when Baltimore was already up 30.
Schad's comments come just three months after the Dolphins racked up over 700 yards and were taking downfield shots in their 70- 20 win over the Denver Broncos. In that game, Mike White replaced Tua Tagovailoa early in the fourth quarter but threw a 68-yard touchdown to Robbie Chosen with the team up 56-13.

Regardless of accusations surrounding running up the score, the AFC Playoffs this year will run through M&T Bank Stadium.
For the Dolphins, they will play for the AFC East crown next week when the Buffalo Bills come down to South Florida.
