The Baltimore Ravens' turnover on the offensive line this offseason continued, as they've reportedly agreed to trade Morgan Moses to the New York Jets.

Just days after the New York Jets signed offensive lineman John Simpson, they're acquiring another lineman from the Baltimore Ravens

ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported the Ravens are trading right tackle Morgan Moses and a fourth-round pick to the Jets in exchange for a fourth and sixth-round pick. With the swap of fourth-round picks, Baltimore will now have the No. 112 overall pick, while New York now has the No. 134 overall pick. Trades don't become official until 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Moses played for the Jets in 2021 before the Ravens signed him to a three-year, $15 million deal in 2022. He'll be entering the final year of that contract next season. The trade saves Baltimore just under $5.5 in cap space, according to OverTheCap.

Moses started all 17 games in 2022 but had trouble staying on the field in 2023, as he missed three games due to injury. He was credited with allowing five sacks and six penalties in 2023 by Pro Football Focus, though he still graded well by their metrics, receiving a 77.6 for his play last season.

With Moses out of the picture, that could open the door for Patrick Mekari to go from swing tackle to starting at right tackle. He started in place of left tackle Ronnie Stanley and Moses last season when they were out with injuries. It could also pave the way for former 2022 fourth-round pick Daniel Faalele to start at right tackle.

Regardless of the Ravens' plans to shore up the offensive line, they're already down two starters with Simpson and Moses gone to the Jets. Right guard Kevin Zeitler may be gone as well, as he's still a free agent.

Given the uncertainty along the offensive line for this season and beyond, it's likely Baltimore will add more bodies through free agency and the draft this offseason to replenish a unit that has been one of the NFL's best.
