Jets & Lions 'Most Likely' Lamar Jackson Ravens Trade Destinations?

As the Baltimore Ravens struggle to re-sign quarterback Lamar Jackson, potential trade suitors are watching the negotiations closely.
In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens may have to start exploring trade options as the negotiations with quarterback Lamar Jackson continue not to bear fruit. If the two parties don't agree on an extension or Jackson indicates he won't play on the franchise tag, the Ravens could get a return on their investment via trade.

A recent article from FanSided ranked the top-five "most likely" trade partners for the Ravens if they were to trade the former Louisville Cardinal. The Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, and the Atlanta Falcons started the list, while the Detroit Lions came in second.

The Lions showed a lot of promise in their second season under head coach Dan Campbell, falling just short of making the playoffs at 9-8 with Jared Goff under center.

Their offense would need some changes to incorporate the dual-threat ability of Jackson, as opposed to the gun-slinging nature of Goff. But the Lions already have a strong running game with Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift.

As for what the Ravens could get from the Lions, Fansided cites that Detroit will have No. 6 and No. 18 picks overall this year and have the draft capital to make a deal.

But at No. 1, FanSided ranks the New York Jets as the "most likely" team to land Jackson because they are built to "win now." The Jets are already in the conversation to land Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr, but landing Jackson could arguably be an upgrade over both.

Their No. 13 overall pick could be another enticing pick for the Ravens to try to acquire.
