Ravens WATCH: Lamar Jackson, Joe Flacco Share a Celebratory Hug at NFL Honors
The NFL held its annual awards show on Thursday night in Las Vegas, and the Ravens were well represented. Current quarterback Lamar Jackson won his second league MVP while former Baltimore signal caller Joe Flacco won Comeback Player of the Year after his efforts with the Cleveland Browns this season.
After the ceremonies, Jackson and Flacco - who played together in Baltimore for one season in 2018 - shared a moment backstage, congratulating one another. Jackson at one point seemed to lay his head on Flacco's shoulder, possibly overcome with emotion.
Jackson won his second league MVP and had career-highs in passing yards (3,678), and completion percentage (67.2) while leading a Ravens offense that was first in rushing yards per game (156.5), and was top five in points (28.4 per contest). The Ravens boasted a 13-4 regular season record as Jackson helped them to the No. 1 seed in the AFC before being ousted by the Chiefs in the AFC title game in Baltimore.
Flacco earned his Comeback Player of the Year award after joining the Browns from his couch late in the season in relief of two injured quarterbacks.

Leading the Browns to the postseason, Cleveland matched up with the resurgent Texans in the Wild Card round and lost 45-14.
Flacco completed 34 of 46 passes for 307 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in his first postseason game since 2015.
