Ravens NFL Mock Draft: Baltimore Adds WR, Monken Brings McIntosh

The Baltimore Ravens will want playmakers on offense this coming offseason, and in the latest mock draft they take two in the first three rounds.

Mock draft season is in full swing as the road to the 2023 NFL Draft is already underway. It is a crucial offseason for the Baltimore Ravens as they try and convince quarterback Lamar Jackson to stay put and sign a long-term contract extension.

While contract negotiations are still in progress, the Ravens are also starting to look toward the draft this April. The Ravens will have just three picks inside the top-100 after trading away their second-rounder to the Chicago Bears in exchange for Roquan Smith.

In a recent mock draft from the NFL Network, the Ravens are projected to select Jalin Hyatt, the wide receiver out of Tennessee, at No. 25.

The lack of weapons out wide has been a long-held criticism of the Baltimore offense. The Ravens could rectify the issue by pairing the creativity of new offensive coordinator Todd Monken with the vertical threat of Hyatt.

With the 86th pick, NFL Network has the Ravens going defense, selecting Notre Dame edge rusher Isaiah Foskey before adding another weapon offensively. At No. 100 overall, a projected compensation pick, the Ravens would select running back Kenny McIntosh out of Georgia.

McIntosh would give the Ravens another contributor in the backfield alongside J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

In his senior year at Georgia under the supervision of Monken, McIntosh played a key role in the Bulldogs' offense, featuring as their best pass-catcher out of the backfield, recording 504 yards and two touchdowns on 43 receptions while rushing for 829 yards and 10 touchdowns.
