Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is playing against his former employer in the Los Angeles Rams for the first time, and he stated there's nothing but love for Sean McVay and his team.
In this story:

Baltimore Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be going through a range of emotions on Sunday as he takes the field against the Los Angeles Rams - the team he won a Super Bowl with in 2021.

While Beckham Jr. was only with the Rams briefly, he developed several long-term relationships with players; now, they are the enemy come Sunday.

But what are his feelings towards the Rams as he gears up for a unique experience at M&T Bank Stadium?

“It’s a special bond that I have with those guys over there, Coop [Kupp], [Matthew] Stafford, I still hit a little group chat and talk trash to them this week,” Beckham Jr. said with a smile.

“It’s just all love and respect. [Sean] McVay’s been, he was the kind of person, the whole organization kind of brought me back to loving and having joy for football, understanding true professionalism, being prepared, it was just a great experience for me, alongside winning a Super Bowl. It was one of the best things that happened in my life.”

With Odell starting to find the level of consistency he has craved since joining Baltimore as in the last month, he has caught 13 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns.

That might not seem like good numbers (although there is a 116-yard game against the Cincinnati Bengals in there), but Beckham Jr. is finally starting to get some continuity in his game.

As the Ravens, who sit comfortably at 9-3 come off their bye week, given how the season has gone and what is in front of them, Odell says that the bye came at exactly the right time.

“The bye week was great, I don’t think it could've came at a better time, and it just allowed you to have the time to breathe and reset,” Beckham Jr. said.

The Ravens now begin the back end of their campaign, as only five games remain on the schedule, and the run-in to the playoffs has now begun.

But for all the love and respect that Beckham Jr. has for the Rams and the organization, on Sunday, there will be no love lost as he looks to help Baltimore win its 10th game of the season.
