Ravens' Odell Beckham Jr. Feels 'Celebrated' in Baltimore, Eyes Super Bowl Ring

Odell Beckham Jr. hopes to win a second Super Bowl ring in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens.

Odell Beckham Jr. is gearing up for his first season with the Baltimore Ravens after being out of football for the 2022 season.

The Ravens are Beckham's fourth NFL team after stints with the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams, meaning he's been around the block. However, Beckham Jr. is comparing all of his stops and sees value in what the Ravens have built.

"It was like that quote, 'Go go where you're celebrated and not tolerated.' … The owner, Steve [Bisciotti], wanted me to be a Raven," Beckham Jr. said on 'The Rich Eisen Show.' "It was just that energy of, we want you here, want to use you, we want your skill set, we need you here to be a leader.' Being an older guy is a little weird but I've embraced it and I actually enjoy it. I'm at an age where you want to be where you're wanted. … I texted Harbs [Head Coach John Harbaugh] the other day. I was like, 'You run a world class operation around here.' It's been very refreshing. It's been a breath of fresh air for me."

Beckham Jr. is playing a key role in Baltimore's offense this season. He's expected to be a top target for Lamar Jackson, one that he's sorely needed throughout his tenure with the Ravens. He'll also play the role of mentor for first-round rookie Zay Flowers, who he'll also be simultaneously competing against for touches.

However, Beckham Jr.'s goal remains simple ... he wants another Super Bowl ring.

"I've seen what it takes [to win a championship], and I don't think there's a piece missing here to where this team can't be competing for a championship," Beckham Jr. said. "I don't think this is a team to take lightly. The way Harbs and these guys run this program is serious. They care about winning and that's all they care about."

Beckham Jr. is set to make his Ravens debut on Sunday, Sept. 10 against the Houston Texans. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium.
