Baltimore Ravens Offense Has 'Room to Grow' After Blowout Win vs. Cleveland Browns

The Baltimore Ravens offense got rolling in the 28-3 blowout win over the Cleveland Browns, but Lamar Jackson felt that points were left out on the field.

The Baltimore Ravens moved to 3-1 on the season after a dominant 28-3 win over the Deshaun Watson-less Cleveland Browns. Todd Monken's offense started rather clunky with consecutive punts before Lamar Jackson and Co. got rolling. But as had happened throughout the first three games, the offense was up and down, going punt and fumble in the next two possessions.

But then the Ravens scored touchdowns on back-to-back possessions to regain their mojo. For Jackson, despite the blowout win, he felt the offense left a lot of points out on the field.

“There’s still room to grow for us,” Jackson said. “We had mishaps on the field. We had a fumble that gave the ball back to the defense. I feel like we left points on the board, every week we been playing, by miscommunications, mishaps. We just need to focus and keep getting better. We got the dub [the win], so we feel pretty good.”

Jackson did what he had to do on offense, which, as we have become accustomed to, involved running the ball.  For the first time in his career, he had multiple passing and rushing touchdowns. Lamar's stat line makes for good reading as he finished the game going 15/19 for 186 yards and two touchdowns, along with having 27 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.

It was a dominant performance from the Ravens star, but what did he think of his efforts? “Just taking what the defense gives me,” Jackson said. “Touchdowns is what we are all about on offense. Just trying to win at the end of the day.”

So the Ravens bounced back emphatically after the overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts last week, and Baltimore now moves to 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in the division. While the offense hasn't played a "complete" game as of yet, they are stacking wins, which head coach John Harbaugh wanted, and when things do finally click for Monken's offense, it will be a sight to behold.
