Ravens Offense Was A Let Down

After putting up 25 points, 27 points, 19 points and 28 points in the first four games, the Ravens' offense could do nothing to put points on the board, only scoring 10 points in the loss. All of Baltimore's points came in the first half, with Pittsburgh shutting them out for the rest of the game. Its offense turned the ball over three times and only converted one out of three red zone trips.

The offense was able to move the ball a bit, picking up 210 passing yards and 125 rushing yards for 335 total yards on the day, but the Ravens were unable to finish drives and score points.

Defense Still Performing Each Week

Baltimore's defense was possibly the one bright spot for the team in the loss, only allowing one touchdown for the entire game. The Steelers scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, with a safety kicking off the scoring run.

The Ravens linebackers have been the best position group this year and that continued against Pittsburgh. Roquan Smith recorded 11 tackles and a pass defended and Patrick Queen had seven tackles, 0.5 sacks and a pass defended.

Ball Security Is Costing Games

Ball security has become a recurring issue for Baltimore, costing them opportunities to win two different games this season. They had three turnovers, with Lamar Jackson throwing an interception and then losing a fumble down four with a minute left in the game.

Jackson has fumbled the ball four times this season losing two. For his career, he has fumbled 35 times and has lost 11 of them.
