Ravens WATCH: QB Lamar Jackson Trains With WRs Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers
The Baltimore Ravens have undoubtedly had one of, if not the most successful offseason in the NFL. Not only did they lock down quarterback Lamar Jackson on a record-breaking contract extension, but they got him help in a pair of dynamic receivers.
First, they signed veteran Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency. Not stopping there, they used their first-round pick on Zay Flowers, immediately giving Jackson two more dynamic weapons to work with on offense.
Fortunately for Ravens fans, they won't have to wait until summer training camp to see how this trio will work together on the field. Rather, they gave fans a glimpse of what's to come during an offseason workout on Sunday.
Not only does working out together before training camp give fans a look at the new Ravens weapons, but it also allows the quarterback and his two new receivers to develop some chemistry.
"Chemistry is going to develop over time. I know I'll be down in Florida training with him [Jackson], so we'll have plenty of time," Beckham said. "It's not something that I'm worried about."
A Ravens offense featuring a trio of Jackson, Beckham and Flowers, as well as tight end Mark Andrews and running back J.K. Dobbins, has the potential to be one of the most potent units in the NFL.
Of course, there is no way to know just how good these three will look on the field together until the season starts this fall. However, their dedication to already getting together in their free time to create that chemistry should have fans excited for what's to come in 2023.
