After ending the regular season healthy, the Baltimore Ravens are prepared for the next chapter of their season.

The regular season is over for the Baltimore Ravens and what a storybook run it has been.

17-10 meaningless loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season finale doesn't take away from the 13-4 mark in the 2023-24 season for the Ravens.

Behind a top defense and MVP front-runner, the Ravens showed that they were the top AFC team in the league this year and the best football team throughout the regular season.

The mindset now has quickly altered to preparing for the playoffs.

"First, I just want to say that I appreciate, as this closes the regular season, kind of the final chapter has been written on the story of the regular season, and now we have an opportunity to write the next chapter," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said.

Baltimore will be off for wild card weekend as the AFC's top seed and will get an opportunity to get healthy, and prepared for the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

That isn't the end goal for Harbaugh and his group either.

"Hopefully we'll earn the opportunity to write more than that," he explained. "I’m proud of the team, coaches, players [and] everybody in the organization for what’s been accomplished up until this point in the regular season, and now we have an opportunity and a challenge to take it into the postseason and play the best football we possibly can."

This will be the second time in franchise history that the Ravens have earned the top seed in the conference after a strong regular season. The last time (2019), Baltimore was upset in their first playoff game against the Tennessee Titans.

Backup Ravens Fall To Steelers in Finale Before Playoffs

They'll look to avoid a similar fate this time around.

"No team better than this one, that I’ve been on," Jadaveon Clowney said after the loss to Pittsburgh. "We will have a good week of practice coming up. We’ll watch football this weekend and see who our opponent is, and we’ll be ready."
