NFL Power Rankings: Where Do Baltimore Ravens Land After Week 13?

Where do the Baltimore Ravens land in the latest NFL power rankings?

The Baltimore Ravens enjoyed a bye week in Week 13 of the NFL season, but there was plenty of other action in the league that impacted a new set of power rankings.

The Ravens are currently in the running for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture, but how do they stack up against the rest of the league? Sports Illustrated released its updated list of power rankings on Tuesday, and Baltimore comes in at No. 3 on the list, right behind the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.

You can read an excerpt from the piece below.

The No. 1 defense and No. 7 offense in the NFL emerges from its bye week to face the hot Los Angeles Rams. Amid Mike Macdonald’s masterpiece of a season, all that is left to see is how strong the Ravens will finish. Unfortunately for John Harbaugh, a renaissance season could also trigger the pilfering of his coaching staff.

As mentioned above, the Ravens do have an interesting challenge out of their bye week with the resurgent Los Angeles Rams coming to visit on Sunday. The Rams are winners of three straight, and with a 6-6 record, they have reentered the playoff discussion in the NFC.

Baltimore, however, appears to have one of the most complete teams in the NFL through 13 weeks of play. Although the Rams' offense has put up solid numbers in recent weeks, they have not faced a test like they will face in Baltimore on Sunday, but this is not a game that the Ravens can look over as Los Angeles is gunning for a playoff berth after a slow start to the season.

There is also the interesting note about the potential pilfering of the Ravens' coaching staff. With multiple NFL head coaches seeming to be on the hot seat at this point of the year, could some of Baltimore's assistants be in line for a new gig at the end of the season?

For now, however, Baltimore has to focus on Los Angeles and pushing its winning streak to three games. Kickoff between the Rams and Ravens is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, and the game will be televised on FOX.
