'Hats Off To Them!' Lamar Jackson Respects Chiefs, Makes Promise Following AFC Title Loss

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took to social media following his team's loss in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The Baltimore Ravens' season has come to an end after dropping Sunday's AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs 17-10, but their quarterback did not hang his head on social media after the game.

Lamar Jackson, who has been the subject of much criticism for his playoff performances throughout his career, took to X (formerly Twitter) and paid respects to the Chiefs, citing that his team was below the .500 mark just two seasons ago.

"I'm proud of all my brothers," Jackson wrote. "We [were] the 8-9 Ravens but fell a game short to the former champs. Hats off to them."

Jackson, in hashtag form, also promised that the Ravens would "be back and way better" and gave thanks to "the real Flock Nation." You can view his post here.

Ravens Mentally Disintegrate in Championship Failure vs. Chiefs

Jackson did not have his best game on Sunday, even though he threw for over 200 yards and a score. The quarterback was responsible for both a lost fumble and an interception as the Ravens squandered an opportunity to reach their first Super Bowl since the 2012 season, a moment that would also mark the first of Jackson's young career.
