Ravens Sign 4x Pro Bowl RB Dalvin Cook For Playoff Run
From one of the worst offenses in football to one of the most imposing.
Dalvin Cook's 2023 campaign certainly hasn't been one for the record books but he's now joined the Baltimore Ravens to show his time with the New York Jets this season wasn't about his skillset.
Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported that Cook and Baltimore had agreed to terms on a playoff contract that would send the four-time Pro Bowl running back to Charm City, and help MVP front-runner Lamar Jackson in the most important games of the year.
Cook, 28, averaged just 3.2 yards per carry but received only 67 touches for 214 yards with Gang Green. He did not score a touchdown in 15 games played.
Baltimore, on the other hand, leads the league in rushing despite not having a 1,000-yard rusher on the season. Jackson leads the team with 812 yards on the ground, but the Ravens have gotten significant contributions from Gus Edwards (762 yards), Justice Hill, and Keaton Mitchell.
Eric DeCosta's Brilliance Has Led Ravens to This Point
Adding a bruising back like Cook certainly won't hurt their offensive changes as the weather gets colder and games become far more important.
