Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Continues Fumble Issues vs. Chiefs in AFC Championship Game
The Chiefs hold a 14-7 lead over the Ravens in the AFC Championship game at M&T Bank Stadium, and it's the Kansas City defense, not the vaunted Baltimore defense, that's wreaking havoc in the game.
Driving down the field for a potential game-tying score, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson dropped back to pass on a 1st and 10 from his own 36-yard line. The pocket collapsed quickly as Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu got a run on the signal caller and swiped at his throwing hand causing a fumble.
Jackson fell to the ground as Kansas City defensive end George Karlaftis fell on the ball at the 33-yard line of the Ravens.
It's Jackson's 11th fumble of the season, possibly the only flaw in his game this year in an otherwise MVP performance.
So far in the game, the Ravens defense has been unable to match the energy and execution of the Chiefs' offense and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
