Ravens WR Zay Flowers Best Move of Baltimore Offseason?

The Baltimore Ravens drafted wide receiver Zay Flowers in the first-round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Will the rookie be the best move of their offseason?
In this story:

"Explosive." "Fantastic." "As advertised." Those are a few terms that have been used to describe Baltimore Ravens rookie wideout Zay Flowers recently.

Now, the 2023 first-round pick has the opportunity to improve a Ravens receiver room that has struggled mightily over the past few seasons.

And for this, CBS Sports predicts Flowers to be the best move of Baltimore's offseason up to this point.

"Drafting [Flowers] is easily the most promising investment they've made at the position in years," CBS Sports writes. "Yes, retaining star QB Lamar Jackson was technically more vital, but he's got questions of his own to answer. Flowers, meanwhile, has multipurpose juice in a WR room otherwise dependent on older, injury-prone veterans."

Coming off third-team All American honors, the 22-year-old heads into his rookie campaign surrounded by veterans wideouts Nelson Agholor and Odell Beckham Jr., along with Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews.

However, Flowers has the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a variety of different areas with his versatility, speed and quickness.

"I can do everything," Flowers told SI's Raven Country this spring. "I'm not an undersized guy that can just run jet sweeps and catch underneath routes - I can be used in multiple different ways and (however) a team needs me to be used."

And with the relationship Jackson and Flowers have developed this early on, a high level of production should not come as a surprise,
