Baltimore Ravens Zay Flowers 'Ready to go!' For Los Angeles Chargers Clash

Baltimore Ravens receiver Zay Flowers was initially under an injury cloud for Sunday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, but he now says he's ready to go.
In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens are still dealing with the fact that All-Pro tight end  Mark Andrews is out for the foreseeable future, but other injury concerns with Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. also came out of the Cincinnati Bengals win.

With Andrews out for the rest of the regular season, it is now up to others to step up, including rookie Flowers, who, thus far this season, has answered the call every time he has been needed.

But after dealing with a hip injury that forced him to miss Thursday's practice, there was a thought that the Ravens could be without their leading receiver.

But the former Boston College star quelled all fears.

"I feel good. I'm ready to go. I feel great," Flowers said. "[Playing Sunday] wasn't even a question. I had to take a little break real quick and now I'm back."

Despite a hip concern, Ravens receiver Zay Flowers says he's ready to go for Sunday night against the Chargers.

Flowers is off to a good start to his NFL career as he has already amassed 588 yards and a touchdown from his 53 receptions, and now, with Andrews sidelined, he will have to take his game to another level.

He already leads the Ravens in targets and yards, so we imagine that Lamar Jackson will be feeding the rookie for the rest of the season.

Additionally, the Ravens have a whole host of weapons to help cover the loss of Andrews as Nelson Agholor, Odell Beckham Jr. (who is a game-time decision for the Chargers game), Rashod Bateman, and young tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar are all expected to share the load.

Baltimore currently has the No. 1 seed in the AFC and will need all hands on deck to overcome the Chargers and maintain its position at the summit of the AFC standings.
