Davante Adams Trade from Raiders to Baltimore Ravens Proposed by DeSean Jackson

It's A Pipe Dream, But a Fun One: A Davante Adams Trade from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens is being Proposed by DeSean Jackson.
In this story:

The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver corps, coming into this season, was touted as a collection of difference-makers. Things haven't quite unfolded that way on a weekly basis for rookie first-rounder Zay Flowers and flashy free agent signeee and Odell Beckham Jr. and QB Lamar Jackson's weaponry.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams is expressed his frustration over his team's 1-2 start in Vegas, telling the media, “I don’t got time to just wait around … it’s not my mentality to take all season to figure it out.”

So, right on time, a keen-eyed Ravens watcher has a Flock fix ...

‘Get Lamar Jackson (another weapon in) Devante Adams asap!!! @Ravens','' writes former NFL standout receiver DeSean Jackson.

Obviously, it's not all quite that easy. As it regards Adams specifically, he has been for the last few seasons arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL - especially during his time with the Green Bay Packers while teaming with QB Aaron Rodgers.

Adams was then traded to the Raiders prior to the 2022 season, in part because he wanted to play with close pal Derek Carr. That hasn't worked out, with the Raiders having dumped Carr ... though last year, Adams' numbers were still outstanding as he finished with 100 catches for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns.

And this year? He had a huge game in a Vegas loss to the Bills and now has 25 catches for 322 yards and three scores. ... which is reason enough for the Raiders to likely be slow to dump him.

Adams has not yet requested a trade out of Las Vegas, but if or when he does? The Ravens and any other bidding team will be reminded that the Raiders gave up a first and a second-round pick while also giving him a new five-year contract that made him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL at that time.

Adams as part of this offense, which also features Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews, is a juicy pipe dream. ... but all NFL teams that consider themselves receiver-needy are surely keeping an eye on Davante Adams, his attitude, and the Raiders' win/loss record.
