Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry is new in town, and he's ready to start preparing for a championship run with his new team.

Henry spoke to reporters during the first phase of offseason workouts and sent a message to his new teammates.

"I'm the new guy, so I wanted to make sure that I show my teammates, and this organization, that I'm here, I'm committed," Henry said. "I want to come to work. I want to put the work in. Be around my teammates."

Henry may be new to Baltimore, but his impact has been felt throughout the league during his eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans. Since he was drafted in 2016, Henry has rushed for 9,502 yards including five years with over 1,000. Henry has run for more yards than any player since the 2016 campaign.

Henry was signed to make an already-dangerous Ravens offense even more lethal. With the reigning MVP under center in Lamar Jackson, adding Henry gives the Ravens a chance to be unstoppable both in the air and on the ground. There are concerns that he may not be able to produce as much as he once used to given the fact that he's now turned 30, but even a fraction of Henry makes the Ravens that much better in the ground game.
