Lamar Jackson ‘Input’ in Coach Todd Monken Hire; Ravens Good Contract News?
The Baltimore Ravens had pledged that their NFL MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson - even amid the parties’ contract conflict - would have a voice in the hiring of the new offensive coordinator.
"I did ask Lamar [Jackson] about it, and he will be involved in it," head coach John Harbaugh said recently about the Ravens' search for a new coordinator. "I’ll keep him abreast of what’s going on, and I’m sure he’ll have some input along the way ...''
"Input.''
And now Todd Monken has been hired away from the back-to-back champion University of Georgia program …
And yes, Jackson had a voice, at least in terms of representing his locker room.

And after a weekend that featured the Ravens leaking to the media a willingness to consider trading Jackson for a “windfall” of draft picks?
The idea of "working with Jackson'' could represent a positive step in what the Ravens really think of Lamar. …
And maybe what Lamar really thinks about the Ravens.
