Roquan Smith Betting on Ravens '10 Times Out of 10' in Heavyweight Bout vs. 49ers
The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers are set for what could be a Super Bowl preview on Monday night when they square off in Santa Clara in a battle of current No. 1 seeds.
Both teams enter the game at 11-3 overall on the season, and even though they have been dominant for most of the year, the Ravens are entering the game as an underdog against the Niners, influenced partly by the game being on the road.
Does that bother Baltimore linebacker Roquan Smith? Not hardly. In fact, he offered some betting advice for those who might be looking to make some cash on the game.
“I’m betting on us 10 times out of 10 — 11 if you want to add one,” Smith said this week.
Smith is always talkative in media availabilities, but he and the Ravens defense will have their hands full on Monday night. Baltimore will be tasked with slowing down key playmakers like running back Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel and containing one of the biggest surprise stories in the NFL in quarterback Brock Purdy.
Can the Ravens pick up a win against San Francisco this week? Doing so would not only help them in their quest for the top seed in the AFC, but it would also put the rest of the NFL on notice: these Ravens are legit.
Three Players To Watch When The Ravens Battle The 49ers
Kickoff on Monday between Baltimore and San Fran is set for 8:15 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on ABC.
