The Baltimore Ravens are the No. 1 seed in the AFC after a 56-19 dismantling of the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and they have been recognized as the top team in the National Football League entering the final week of the regular season.

According to the latest NFL power rankings released by the New York Post, Baltimore comes in at No. 1 after an impressive stretch against two of the best teams in the league, dominating both the San Francisco 49ers and the Dolphins.

Message received, loud and clear. In a game between arguably the AFC’s two best teams, the Ravens routed the Dolphins, 56-19, to clinch the AFC North and home-field advantage until the Super Bowl. Lamar Jackson might’ve clinched NFL MVP, too, with 321 passing yards, five touchdowns and a perfect 158.3 rating. The Ravens closed with 21 straight fourth-quarter points.

The Ravens are entering this final week of the regular season as one of the hottest teams in the league, having won six straight games, the majority of which came against teams who will also be in the playoffs this year. Baltimore will close out its regular season at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday afternoon in search of its 14th win of the campaign.
